How to get
Jerez de la Frontera is easily accessible by different means of transportation. Jerez has an airport at less than 15 minutes from the city center.
The train service is excellent in this part of Spain. Jerez is just a one hour train ride from Seville and connects easily with nearby cities you may want to visit. A less than 10-minute train ride will get you to the beach and El Puerto de Santa María.
Driving in Spain is always a good option, but it is not always necessary and especially in Jerez.
Best options to arrive are the following depending on the airport chosen:
Jerez airport
No problem with this but maybe a complicated air route from your locations.
In case you are more people you might share the costs of a transfer. Here are some options:
Madrid airport
In this case, you need to take a train to arrive in Jerez. The outward journey you need to choose is: Madrid (todas) to Jerez. It takes more or less 3.30 or 4.20 hours depending on the train.
Please do not include Madrid Airport T4 as an outward journey because even though you could go from the airport to the train station by a commuter train, this is not a direct line from the airport to Jerez.
Look for the routes and times at

I do not recommend the buses, it takes 7 hours and taking into account the distance and that you need to wait in the bus station for a connection (two buses) it would be uncomfortable.
Malaga airport
In this case, the train you need to choose is the following:

Please check the journey details because you need to take two trains and more or less the train travel takes the same time as coming from Madrid.
Again, please do not include Malaga Airport as an outward journey because even though you could go from the airport to the train station by a commuter train, this is not a direct line from the airport to Jerez.
I do not recommend the buses, it takes 5 hours and taking into account the distance and that you need to wait in the bus station for a connection (two buses) it would be uncomfortable.
Seville airport
The easiest way. In this case the better option is to take a taxi from the Airport to the train station in Seville (Sevilla Santa Justa) Then take a train to Jerez. You find the details in

In this case, you could take a bus from Seville Prado San Sebastian Bus Station. It takes 1 hour,15 minutes.
